Covid for Kids

Covid-19 (or COVID-19) stands for CO - Corona VI - Virus D - Disease 19 - 2019, because it was discovered in 2019.  Corona is Latin for crown or wreath. It's because it seems to have a crown or a wreath around it under a microscope. Coronavirus Its really a ball with mushroom looking things under a stronger microscope. Coronavirus The Coronavirus is a disease that can spread easily. People do not know that they have it until signs start showing. This can take two to fourteen days for the signs to show. It seems to infect the lungs and can spread to the rest of the body.

Hi,      This is my first post. I am creating a kid-friendly Covid 19 site that gives information, but not as complex as other websites (words kids have not learned yet.) It will be as descriptive as other websites.
